Family Historian 7: Using Diagrams

This document is intended to be an outline to show how there is far more you can do using Diagrams in Family Historian 7 than just creating a family tree. Maybe it is the way my mind works, but as a user since V2, I started working from diagrams and still do. When somebody asks me about somebody in my tree I have a picture of them and their family as displayed on a FH diagram in my mind’s eye.

The examples are taken from my own trees and the descriptions of how to achieve them are the way that I do them – other people will have other ways, which work for them, but I hope that this document will be useful as an introduction to Diagrams in FH7. I have not attempted to describe how to achieve everything possible.

If you find the document useful, I would love to hear from you – equally if you have a better or different way of achieving the same end I will be interested to hear from you.
